Elaine Morgan, LMFT-D
Elaine is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with Diagnostic Privilege and works
with individuals, couples, and families. She is an ADHD Certified Clinical Services
Provider and has experience with supporting clients and their loved ones navigate
symptoms related to ADHD. Elaine provides support to clients experiencing Anxiety,
Depression, ADHD, Self-Harm/High Risk Behaviors. Elaine has worked with couples
that have expressed concerns related to infidelity, conflict in the relationship, or are
questioning their relationship. She is experienced in providing support to adolescents
and their families as they navigate peer pressure, academic pressure, and
misunderstandings in communication. She provides transitional support to non-binary
and transgender identifying individuals and their families. Elaine provides a person-
centered, strengths based, collaborative, and integrated approach with all clients.
Elaine earned her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Certificate of
Advanced Study in Trauma Informed Practice from Syracuse University. While at SU,
Elaine received training in Gender Affirmation Therapy. Apart from SU, Elaine is trained
in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and has completed levels 1 & 2 of
Gottman Couple’s Therapy Training. Finally, Elaine co-authored a chapter in DSM-5-TR
in Family Systems with Dr. Deborah Coolhart titled “Gender Dysphoria in Family
Systems” which was published in 2023. Elaine further supported academic research by
conducting a literature review of non-binary experiences which was used for Dr.
Coolharts’ publications.
