Supervision
It is important for a for us all to discover who we authentically are as clinicians and as people. The supervisor-supervisee context should be a relationship that feels both challenging and supportive; a dynamic where you can express and explore without any judgment and gain empowerment and confidence in your skills, understanding and application of theory, and unpack Self of the Therapist (SOT) issues that arise.
Whether you are a student-in-training, a limited permit holder seeking supervision hours for licensure, or a licensed professional hoping to have a space to continue to grow or apply new theory, you are in the right place. I have been providing supervision to clinicians in varying stages of development for a number of years. My approach is trauma-informed and culturally sensitive as I believe supervision is isomorphic to the therapeutic setting and thus how I practice clinically I likewise bring into the supervisory context.
